Gill India Communications Pvt Ltd (GICPL) is pleased to announce its third NEWSWIRE India Outbound Corporate & MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) Travel Mart (MTM) to be held on 17 October at The Claridges, Surajkund, Delhi NCR.
It is with great pleasure that we also announce that we will be organising the first Today's Traveller Inbound and Domestic Corporate Travel Mart (CTM) in conjunction with the MTM on 17 October.
Due to the overwhelming response from buyers at the last two MTMs and their feedback to meet domestic suppliers, GICPL has added CTM to satisfy all the needs of the buyers.
This unique corporate buyer-seller mart provides for interactive sessions where corporate purchasers and travel agents can express their requirements and sellers can provide the solutions.

Outbound travel
The market is driven by a number of factors, one of them being the fact that the Indian travel industry has displayed exemplary resilience, with the India Outbound movement doing particularly well with over 10 million travellers at the close of 2009. Displaying its rebound and growth potential, the outbound market bounced back in 2010, meeting the previously predicted 25 per cent growth.
Outbound MICE outlook The India Outbound MICE market is estimated at Rs 2,000 crore to Rs 3,500 crore already. The numbers are projected to present a further upward trend given that major industries, such as IT, Pharmaceuticals, Insurance, Telecom and Finance are all providing a stimulating environment to the MICE market. Thus, all the segments of the value chain—tourism boards, travel agents and suppliers—are in for a high growth curve.

An interactive platform
Driven by these facts, all of which point at the potential that the Indian MICE Outbound market holds, GICPL felt that there was a need for a platform wherein the corporate purchasers can interact with a large number of travel-service providers and get to know more about what the travel supplier has in his repertoire.
During our interaction with corporate purchasers, they revealed that they were keen to be exposed to newer destinations and innovative travel products so that they could plan out their MICE calendar in more interesting ways.
Sellers/travel-service providers, on their part, have always been keen to showcase their products to corporate purchasers so that they could regularly update and inform them of various, new travel options.
